Dosage and Route for Adults: Initial dosage: 10 mg once daily. Maintenance dose: 20-40mg once daily. Maximum dose 80mg once a days.

Cautions and Contraindications

Other Side Effects include dizziness and headaches, hypotension and cough, heart disease, liver dysfunction, liver dysfunction, angioedema and rarely blood dyscricias.

Nursing Implications

During and following administration: Administer drugs within 24 hours of the episode of acute MI. Patient monitoring should be closely maintained.

Teaching points: You should take the drug once a day. It is important to be cautious with conditions such as vomiting, dehydration, and nausea. Also, it could cause a drop in BP.
